"M2" Cave Update
The seller prefers to sell the parcel as one, and has rejected all of the bids, including ours. However, they anticipate receiving an acceptable offer soon, and the realtor will submit our subdivision proposal to the the potential buyer. The WCC will stay in communication with all parties, and resume negotiations at the earliest opportunity. Support for this project has been strong in the Pacific Northwest, where the WCC has already raised pledges of $9,775 towards this purchase.

In November, 2003, the Western Cave Conservancy submitted a letter of intent to
purchase a parcel of land containing "M2" Cave, near Grants
Pass, Oregon. The cave is on a large parcel of land, and the proposal entailed
buying only the portion with the cave, and absorbing the expenses of doing the
subdivision.
